I sew a case for my snowboard. It turned out a little too big, but I think I’ll use it for 2-3 years :) In the pictures you can see a case with snowboard and boots, but without helmet, glasses and clothing. So, with all stuff case looks as it fits almost normally.
I used impregnated steady fabric.
Impregnated thick, steady fabric;
Cotton edges and thread
Grip tape
1,5 m long zipper

Looks professional! My (store bought) board bag is also slightly too big, and the only problem I have is that I load it too heavily (even with all my snowboarding stuff in it there’s still room for some groceries, which make it a pain in the ass to carry because of the weight).
