I made this capelet for my daughter’s Halloween costume last month. She hosted her party as Poison Ivy, a villainous character devised by DC Comics in 1966 and enemy to Batman!
The construction was very similar to making a circle skirt. I made it all the more tricky by using very slippery polyester satin…. nightmare to sew right sides together!
More info and a how-to on my blog, just in case you fancy making one yourself! ;-)
Polyester satin, ribbon for ties and a couple of glitzy buttons.
