I made this blouse for week 2 of my fall makeover challenge. I used the new fall Mccalls pattern 6604. When I saw the pattern I new I wanted a cream blouse similar to the one the model was wearing on the package cover and was delighted when I found a pair of cream lace curtains and polyester pajama pants at the thrift store to use as the fabric for my blouse (it had to be God because I found both on the same day and at a great price total was $7). I was able to use the beautiful lace scalloping at the bottom of the curtain for my blouse hem and the curtain rod pocket for the cuffs. I used the pajama pants for the sleeves. For the inspiration behind this piece check out my blog at http://latinamonoblog.blogspot.com.
For some reason some of my shots are still uploading as tilted images even though I keep re-orienting them before I save them. Sorry :)
Re-purposed lace curtains and polyester pajama pants.
