Description

I made this skirt basing the waistband on a pair of gauchos I have and the skirt on skirt I own. I love fold over waistbands a lot! The color (heather pink) is not at all my top choice but it was half off red tag and the fabric is what I wanted (plain ol’ cotton knit). The drawstring is functional but I included it just for looks. I also made a super simple slip to go with it (and other skirts), it’s just a thin cotton knit with a fitted waistband (no icky elastic). I am quite happy with it because it turned out just as planned but haven’t really worn it much I guess cuz of the color.

Material Notes

thin cotton knit and thread (drawstring accent is quilters cotton print)
