I made my husband a shirt for a Christmas gift.
it is based on Jakob pattern, and I arranged it to a cowboy style.
I cut the fabric diagonally for the shoulders, pockets, and cuffs.
I wanted to do the same for the part that the buttons go on,
but ran out of fabric, and the store no longer carried the same fabric,,,
which was a real bummer… :(
finished up with the pearl snaps, and that made it look like a real cowboy shirt!

Your hubby top looks great! Like the bias accents on the shoulders, pockets, and cuffs. My husband does not want to make anythign for him because I first started making clothes the stitches wouldn’t stay and the clothes would fall apart. If it could go wrong it would go wrong! That was years ago! I am so much better and have learned that if you want quality products you can’t just go and get the cheapest thread you see!

it took me some time to make him something he likes and wears, too. well, even still he is REALLY picky, so when I make him something I have to be really careful with everything -design, color, fit etc…
maybe, you can make your husband a suprise gift, too, and show off your skills :)!
