Description

It has been a very long time since I have uploaded any projects! But here we go, a college project I was given associated with the theme of “the exquisite corpse”. I am coming to the end of this project, yet it has been so much fun I could carry on forever! Here are my experimentational (if that’s even a word) pieces.

The top was quite a simple pattern, I just created a boob tube shape and cut out the circle shapes from the side of it. It was an easy sew. The fabric that I used in these circles is some kind of organza type fabric that I experimented with using acrylic paint, glue gun, cable ties (due to the theme!) and stitching.

The net was particularly time consuming and hurt my arms a lot but was pretty straightforward to make! I used normal string that you would use to perhaps wrap parcels etc. I then went on to dye it with black dye and washed it down a bit at the same time which gave it a kind of tie dye effect.

As you can imagine, not many people would like to model this strange creation, but my sister was willing! Thank you Beci! :)
