En 50-talshgmidja sjkvinnebikini!
A 50’s high waisted she-sailor bikini!
Just like everyone else how got the January issue of burdastyle magazine I got the brilliant idea to make a retro bikini based on the pattern for high waisted panties. So in May I sat down to make it, all in good time for summer. I discovered along the journey that they where to big or perhaps my swimsuit fabric was to stretchy? Either way I had to modify them to a perfect fit. I did that by adding two new seams on the back part so that I had two more “panels” there (as seen in the pictures). As the summer came along I was busy with other stuff than making the bikini top – so that never happend!
These are really comfy and I encourage everyone to make them!

In fact, I like it a lot with the more panels in the back. Gives it a more classy touch in my opinion.
