Description

The skirt is made using an out-of-print Butterick #3972 pattern, year 2003, completed many years back. My weskit blouse is from a vintage McCall #8265, year 1950 pattern, made for “Jungle January” at the blog “Petty Grievances”. Both skirt and weskit blouse’s fabric is a plush micro-suede, with satin finish inside. I love this set – this skirt is a basic staple item and my weskit is unusual but figure complimentary. Snarl! Thank you! We found a bamboo covered art museum as the background…and of course my vintage accessories went to match.

Great shaped retro shirt, goes well with the modern skirt pattern and amazing accessorises as usual.

Thank you! I didn’t plan this outfit, really – the skirt just was already out when I finished the weskit and I realized, “Hey these two match!” My hat is from a stash of just over half a dozen 1950’s hats I recently found at dirt cheap prices, brand new condition! I love bargains like this!

Thank you! I didn’t expect for it to turn out so well while I was making it.
