Classic trench with vertical princess seams, shoulder epaulettes, sleeve tabs, neck tab, and gun flap in a medium to heavy wool melton. I’ve been admiring this coat ever since I first saw it in the September 2006 issue of Burda, and after making it I can say that it lived up to my expectations.
You can view the blog post here for more details.
A medium orchid wool melton, fully lined in black “heavy backed satin lining” from Cleaner’s Supply.
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
