My most recent quilt. 9 squares are my favorite – super simple to make and they match everything! I was able to use a lot of odds and ends from my fabric stash and made the bias tape for the binding from the excess backing so I had very little waste!
I started this quilt on March 7th and finished it on April 3rd – it would have been quicker had I not worried about documenting it so heavily and taking natural sunlight photos. :)

I really love the bed, too. I saved that tutorial and hope to make my own book headboard one day. I saw the quilt on craftster and was just amazed- I think you did an excellent job. I’d love to make a quilt- my favorite one is falling apart. Cute bed, cute quilt, cute room. _

I love this. Always wanted to try a quilt, but they seem intimidating! Ok anything that takes longer than an afternoon seems intimidating! LOL But the 9 square idea looks pretty simple.

Love your quilt!!! I also love a nine patch, you can do whatever you desire and they are beautiful. Gives me some inspiration to complete the plaid quilt I have started for my daughter, but the patches are bigger, will post whenever I get it done. Thanks for the instructions. Happy Sewing!

This is just gorgeous – it looks amazing on the bed! I never thought of doing a series of 9×9 block squares before either – looks really great.
