Crisala — I drafted the peter pan collar from scratch, using an online tutorial that is no longer available, but it was identical to the instructions in my patternmaking bible, “Pattermaking for Fashion Design”, page 182 of the fourth edition. I checked the book out from my local library before I plunked down the $90 to buy it from Amazon, but it was well worth the money once I started sewing for myself a lot. Hope this helps and good luck! Hope to see your version soon! :)

I like your creation very much. Could you give any reference for the collar? did you invent the pattern or did you reuse one from another project? I really would like to do a jacket for me like yours. Thanks.
Good job!!

Thanks, it was a really easy pattern to alter for both size and style. I definitely recommend it! The fabric is a corduroy, 100% cotton, from Jo-Ann. They put all their printed corduroy on clearance in Dec-Jan, and I think I got this for $2 a yard or so.
I saw in the gallery that someone from Japan made this into a grey wool dress that is really stunning — I will have to try that sometime, too!

Nice job! I’m just thinking that I would try to make a Ellinor jacket version. Your creation gives me a motivation very much; thank you!

Nice use of the Ellinor pattern. I might give this a try. I just made a shorter version of Ellinor the other day and really like it. It was a bit tight over my hips, but that is because I am a pear, so I will adjust for that next time.

Excellent adaptation; I also would like to know what the fabric is.
