I made this dress for an 80s themed benefit concert & party. I chose the pattern for the bubble skirt and decided to go as Glam 80s (spoiled rich girl). I used up some taffeta I had in my fabric stash and some plastic-y ribbon. I knew I would only wear this dress (and trash it) once (twice at most), so I used cheap featherweight boning. It was a good party dress, but not normally my style.
Left over taffeta and ribbon… you definitely need materials that have a stiffness in them to hold the shape of the bubble skirt!
As an early special Black Friday promotion you can now enroll in the course ($80 value) for $49.99!
