Here it is: The Scarf Dress, and it was so easy! I love the colors in the scarf, so what a perfect project for the fabric.
However, it would have been even EASIER with a sewing machine of my own, let alone a BERNINA! Thus, think of me and my defunct Bernina Sport :( when voting.
I hope I win, so I can make more of these dresses, swimsuit cover-ups, skirts – ah, the possibilities – without borrowing my mother’s machine. Thanks for looking.

Love it, looks great on you! I have a collection of vintage scarfs still waiting to be transformed…I can see that you shirred the waist part. What did you do to keep the top in its place and how does it close? Simple elastic?
