I got both the terry towelling and the rib in the op shop about 2 years ago so I’d been thinking about this one for a while! Sewing some other jersey things and seeing all the renfrew tops got me going on this. It was going to be bright but wanted it a bit funky too, not enough of the blue material to make a hood so settled on this cuffed pattern from Burda Style 02/2008.
I really like the way the scooped neckline worked out and sits rolled over. I would have made the blue body a few cms longer but didn’t have enough material so just settled for what the pattern asked for. I like it, feel pretty cool wearing it out with my aviators and bell bottoms on! Here I am just in the garden of the house my parents are staying at and where my husband got a few snaps. He thought they were just nice me and horse pics. he he.
