Another project finished two weeks ago… This long dress is made of printed chiffon, with a simple pattern, the kind needed when using a ’’complicated’’ print as this one.
I used a basic pattern from Burda for the top part (Theater Dress 11/2012 #122) but didn’t sew the darts, I just gathered the fabric on the waist. Another change was at the sleeves, where I cut along their length and just fixed them in two different points. The length is 3/4.
I used cotton lining only at the bottom part, made it short for a transparent effect. Concealed zip on a side.
Black bias trim on neckline and end of the sleeves.
