This shirt is based on one my mom bought from a boutique in the 70s. It was a favorite of my sisters, but it was so old it was falling apart, so they asked me to make a pattern from it. (Don’t worry, I did it without cutting apart the original!) I made this pattern for two of my sisters, one was black and one was light blue. I really liked the pattern, so now I’ve finally made myself one as well.
black wool, dark gray wool with pinstripes, navy blue wool, black corduroy, blue cotton with pinstripes, white loopy trim, thread.

Very nice! The trim makes it look kind of seaman-like, but the loops make it fairlytale-like at the same time, I really like it!
