Description

This is a halter dress with a two layer circle skirt, the first layer is a kinda art deco print with groups of daisies on it, and the second layer is cream with white square dots which is a sheet I got a a thrift store. The dress snaps closed at the back and there is a gap between the snaps and the center back seam of about 5 inches. This is my own design, which was very simple to make, I might do a how to later.

Material Notes

2 yards cotton and 1 flat sheet, two snaps, thread

This is such a lovely dress. I also like the 70s style and your fabric-choice is perfect :) Suits you very well! I would love to have such a dress, but unforunately I can’t wear halter dresses, I find it’s uncomfy to wear them :/

I too am a big fan of the double layered skirt – I will wait patiently until your how-to has arrived to make one for myself or my sisters!

I love this! It’s so beautiful, with that double layering and the shape you’ve created. The fabric is great…and, well, I just like everything about it!
