Description

1960’s Shift Dress with purchased belt. The dress fit in the hips but came out too big in the waist. The pattern isn’t cut to be at all fitted. If I make it again, I’ll take in the waist by probably 2" or more.

Material Notes

2 1/2 yards Cotton,
Metal Jacket Zipper, &
Purchased Belt

Nice dress! I made a shift dress once for a wedding – it didn’t come out that great- I had a similar problem with the fitting so I wore a waist band. I guess the 60’s shape was more box like!!
