Aah winter.. what does one do when it’s cold and one has the flu? Sitting around on one’s bee-hind and idly twiddling one’s fingers just doesn’t seem to fill the void.. The answer is, of course, crochet!
Here is a pair of red 60’s inspired fingerless “driving” gloves I made. Traditionally, these little babies would be made of leather, but I had a more practical idea in mind. I used wool that was laying in wait in a big bag. They feature adorable little baby blue vintage buttons. The most annoying part was, as always, weaving in all the loose ends.
I made a couple of pairs, and an odd glove as well, as part of experimenting with sizing. However, in the end I’m very happy with how these turned out. I gave the other pair to a friend :)
