Press seam allowances open. Lay facing wrong sides together with jacket and lay collar pieces together. Pin collar joining seams together. Lay facing up again and stitch seam allow-ances together, close to collar joining seam. Baste facing to front edges and to hem edge, approx. 2 mm (a scant 1/8 in) from seam allowance. Baste collar pieces together along outer edges, next to seam allowances. Trim away seam allowances around the edges.
