For an upcoming formal I designed a dress that was inspired by one of my favourite eras…. the 50’s! To ensure that the dress had a bit of a “swing” to it, I made a circle skirt out of the light duchess satin. The bodice is boned and lined, and I also added a band of wide elastic to create a smooth cinched in silhouette for the waist.
Thanks for checking out my project! :)
