50s style woollen winter skirt

Added Oct 29, 2009

London, United K...

This is a skirt based on the BurdaStyle Linda skirt – but I messed it up when cutting so had to improvise a wee bit! Turned out ok, I think :)

For some reason, Burdastyle won’t let me put that it’s related to the Linda skirt pattern…

Material Notes

blue checked wool
pale blue silky lining fabric
fusible interfacing
decorative button
8 inch zipper

Super cute skirt and props on the shoes too! I don’t know what cutting mistake you made but it doesn’t show in the finished product great job!

Thanks for your comment on my Linda skirt. Yours is pretty darn awesome too.

Am definitely going to make a checked one myself now i’ve seen how cool yours is.

I like the fabric of your skirt. I never thought, that checked would fit to such a pattern but you did a good choice!
