I made this dress for a friend’s wedding. Since it is the first time I make a dress it came out pretty OK. As most of the girls here, I changed the skirt as well to be without a bubble (looks much nicer, especially with cotton). Also, the instruction for petersham ribbon seemed somewhat complicated so I simply attached the skirt to the edge of the bodice.
I finished the skirt hem with bias tape in matching color to the sash.
