I love how this dress turned out! I used a vintage vogue pattern V1043. I took up the hem quite a bit to give the pattern a more modern twist. It was fun working with such an intricate pattern, except there is an armpit gusset! I had never seen one before, and it was very difficult. I won’t ever do that again.
The fabric is by Tula Pink, I think its just the cutest!
I also have my collar untucked in all the pictures. Classic.

Cute adaptation! What do you mean the “collar is untucked”? Where was the gusset in the armhole? That’s a new one for me too but I’ll be my Mom would remember.

The neckline of the dress has a inch wide lining on the inside, and I had it flipped out so its showing in some of the pictures by accident :p
The gusset in the armpit was a diamond shaped piece that extended from the zipper at the side of the dress to the hemline of the arm.
