My friends are throwing a Halloween party and my invitation said bring myself and a costume. I’ve already exhausted all my other costume ideas so I had no idea what I wanted to be: 2 yrs ago I wore my poodle skirt and last yr I was a hippie. SInce I love the 50s and 60s I wanted to stick with that theme. Then it came to me! I have the saddle shoes, the black skinny jeans, and the hair scarf…so I decided to make a Pink Ladies jacket and go as a Pink Lady from Grease. To make the jacket i use the pattern from my footed pajamas. I used the kid’s large and just shortened it. Other than using the pattern for the shape of the jacket I pretty much made the jacket up as I was going along. To finish off the jacket I did a simple Pink Lady appliqu on the back.
light pink satin, knit cuffs, knit ribbing for collar and waistband, separating zipper
