Description
used my trusty Butterick B4443 bodice pattern and a simple rectangle skirt. I made the neck line smaller, added a cm to bodice length and added an external vintage metal zip to update it, I also made a belt and used a vintage belt buckle. I love this dress its lovely to wear. It is made from a heavy weight cotton used for curtaining but it works for the dress and it only cost me £2.50 for the pair of curtains, bargain. I have updated a pair of shoes to match

Really pretty dress and it looks great on you! The red zipper on the floral is a nice touch of whimsy.

Thank you, it is nice fabric, why hang them on a rail when you can hang them on yourself

You are beautiful in this dress. You styled it perfectly in the photos. Also your choice of fabric gives the timeless style a truly retro punch. I love it. This is the kind of project I aspire to, thanks for sharing.
