The good thing about being a teacher is being able to go to the prom every year… which means new dress!!! I fell in love with that pattern and I really like the way it turned out. A shame I probably won’t wear it again…

I love it! Did you make the quintessential cropped jacket too? I love big skirt dresses from the 50’s with those cute little jackets, but, alas, while I did not have try to box pleat animal hides, America was going through the horrible Qiana fabric and disco phase. Oh, yeah, we were stylin’ in those days, not!

Excellent choice of pattern. I wish our chaperones were that chic. But, we had just emerged from the caves and hides are so hard to box pleat! It is lovely. Nehmah
