Description

I made this dress using Burda pattern #117 of last years november issue and some fabric I found at a thrift store. I didn’t use interlining, -facing or boning (though now I wish I had, just to make it perfect… kind of like the cherry on top), just some stiff garbadine for the lining. Still I managed somehow to archive a rather streamline and snug fit, I think I could even wear it strapless and it would stay up. I also really like the pockets, pockets make everything better.

I know the pictures are a bit grainy but I had way too much fun editing them and using a tool for a 60s look!

There is more on my blog shesellsseashells:"http://katarinasellsseashells.blogspot.com/2011/01/having-blues.html.
