Another creation all about the back, though I wish it had been more about the front as the chest did not turn out like I would have wanted at all. Perhaps I will rework that part someday.

Like most things that I make, I never use a pattern. The front and skirt were made as one large piece that was laid out with pleats to take it down to my waist measurement before sewing it onto the lace band. Unfortunately, this resulted in the odd way the material sits over my chest. If I did it again I would keep the front piece separate and cut it out flat.

i really like this dress, is it your own design? (cause i want the pattern!) I love how the skirt puffs out, and the back is a nice shape! Gorgeous colour too :)
