Shirt for a little boy. I used a worn-out men´s shirt from (I believe) the fifties and constructed a pattern on that basis. I think the model is so handsome with the front part creating a line over the shoulders. The shirt was actually meant to fit a six-year old, but as I discovered the shirt was not wide enough over the shoulders, it became more appropriate for a four-year old (luckily I have boys in three different sizes…). Next time I´ll have to make it wider. Apart from the collar and front part construction, it is an ordinary shirt with a yoke on the back and cuffs on arms. Topstitching in red on blue cotton twill.
Cotton. 2 buttons.

really cute and a little bit different (which is what you want with boys clothes as they can get boring very easily).
