Long Beach, Cali...
A few months ago my 5 year old daughter got out some of my scrap fabric and my spare scissors and started cutting pieces out while I ironed nearby. A little while later she came and told me her fabric was stuck in the sewing machine. After digging the fabric and knotted thread out of the machine I asked if I could help. She placed all the pieces and I helped pin and sew straight lines. Once she got a roughly triangular piece put together with a waistband on the bottom I suggested adding straps to the top and this is what we ended up with. It ties around her waist and neck then the neck ties loop through where the back is sewn together to make a racer-back. I was pretty impressed with my little girl’s first project. What do you think?
