I think you should wear it as it’s shown in the last photo, with the left hem flap pinned way back. I’m not kidding, I really think you should! To me the skirt looks complete in that photo, and very artistic! It aligns perfectly with the swag of the folds. It shows off that rich lining and gives a smooth, chic drama that acts as a foil to the dynamic drama you’ve created with the button folds. Pair it with a simple fitted (but not too tight) sleeveless vest, corsett, or chemise in the same fabric you’ve used for the skirt. Use the lining again to tie hair back or as the lining of a bag. And of course, some great heels! Sigh, I’ve already dressed myself in this:)
