I took a http://www.burdastyle.com/pattern_store/patterns/102011-houndstooth-bell-bottoms pattern, ignored front closure and sew zipper on the back and added cuffs. For bodice…take some basic bodice pattern and make a mock up. Cut out any shape you would like. This is your pattern for upper part of the pants. You can connect it with pants on waist or… leave separately and connect when desired with snaps as I did.
