Discovery Bay, C...
I made this by modifying a pattern I drafted for my etsy shop. The original was a 2 piece suit: http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/reversible-peplum-blouse-and-pencil-skirt I wanted to try a dress version of it. I also had an idea for a hidden pocket. The fabric was actully a gift and not really something I would pick for myself so I thought if I messed up no big deal. Everythng turned out great though, except I’ll never wear it because like I said this fabric is not really my taste. So I have it up for swap on my blog here: http://geminae.blogspot.com/2013/02/want-to-trade.html Along with a lot of other things that were left over from my shop.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
