I’ve made this dress last year, right for my husband’s B-day. Everybody was surprised how great do I look in this style.
I really like this dress it makes me feel different. And the fabric is very strange and interesting. It feels like wool but has also an insertion of organza thread or something, so it shines like water. It’s pity it’s not visible on pictures.

Thanks to everybody for such nice and warm words! I really appreciate everyone’s opinion! I used a pattern from Burda magazine 09/2007 N117. Nothing was changed. Maybe I made it a little shorter but not sure. As I said I’ve created it a year ago. But any way I consider this pattern one of the best of Burda magazine. The summer variation in silk is coming up! So this kind of dress is unique in its beauty!
