Burda Style For people who sew

These 4 pieces (1 tailored jacket, 1 blouse, 2 skirts) has been made for a good friend. additionally to the jacket, i showed allready in another project i made her a cremecolored blouse following the pattern of burdastyle issue 4 2011 pattern nr 105 and, 2 skirts with a vintage burda pattern from the early 80’s german burda pattern 7215. the skirts have been made one in the same fabric than the jacket and one in a light brown very heavy cotton (almoust like a denim). both skirts are fully lined in dark violet silk and have a little slit at the back.
my new mashine helped me doing a ton-in-ton monogramm on one of the cuffs and also the buttonholes are so much nicer now with my new Janome!

heringbone pattern in two tones of beige in a heavy cotton heavy cotton in dark beige dark violet silk light weighted cotton in off white thread, vintage buttons for the jacket, mother of pearl buttons for the shirt shoulder pads, interfacing
