Made from a pair of corduroy jeans that I bought for $5 at a thrift store. The waist fitted me fine, but not the legs, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try out a workshop on how to recycle your old jeans into a skirt that I had found somewhere on the internet.
Old pair of jeans that fit you that the waist, make sure they are not worn out on the knees though... Jeans that are too short (length wise) are perfect for that! I also used a twin needle for the hem, and I some how messed up and crossed the threads which gave this nice satin-stitch-like look!! Just make sure you use the same thread color as the one already used on your jeans (I just took my pair of jeans to the store with me to choose the right color).
Workshop from someone on the internet.
I still have it in a pdf file but I don’t want to upload someone else’s work without permission..
