I did not alter anything about the original Diana pattern … just wanted to have a ‘play around’ to see how the fabrics and colours worked together
lining: normal lining fabric that can be used for skirts etc
checkered/floral bag: cotton … the floral bag started life as a tablecloth
both other bags were made with decorating and upholstery fabric which I got as off-cuts from a fabric store in Northern England
I fell in love with the dark red and gold fabric but it nearly drove me nuts because it is soo thick and not really the right material for the bag
