Vogue 1098 Anne Klein jacket, with collar made but omitted.
My sewing machine couldn’t handle the thickness of the fabric for buttonholing, so I used large snaps on the inside and buttons on the outside. I had to use buttons (would have preferred the clean lines of no buttons) because attempting buttonholes had made a bit of a mess on the jacket front that needed to be covered.
I love this jacket – it was a breeze to make up compared to the more fitted style of jacket, and it feels so luxurious on! I may even make it again as a summer jacket, but would probably lengthen the upper arms and bodice a little.

Thanks! I love this jacket to0 – shame it’s still too cold for it here. I completely and utterly stuffed these button holes up – utterly irretrievable so thank goodness for rather large buttons :-)
