After making pants of our local shweshwe material (read more here), for an American friend as a farewell gift, I knew I had to make myself a pair too. This very raw cotton material is perfect for wide pants! But for some reason, I do not think I will wear these pants too often… maybe as a backup for office wear… we’ll see :) Definitely only after the worst of summer is over.. the cotton is terrible thick and warm. Anyways, the shweshwe material is known by its “Three Cats” tradename, hence my project name :) Have a look at these beautiful material ranges, new for 2013! Oh and this is the same NewLook pattern (my default) but I’ve kept it as wide as possible, with large cuffs for some detail.
