I made pyjama shorts for myself, my husband Paul, and our son Christopher. LOL. No, we don’t go out dressed in matching outfits, nor do we sleep in matching outfits! The plaid fabric was left over from a quilt project I had made a few years ago, so the pyjamas cost nothing to make, but were a good learning experience for me. I made the fly front for his shorts, and for mine I added a drawstring waist (learnt buttonholes), a waistband extension and cuffs.
The fabric for my son’s pyjama bottoms are from the Smartphone game “Angry Birds.”

I’m going to add matching pjs to my “to make” list:) Thank you for the compliment! You can definitely tackle the pencil skirt. It’s great for beginners, the pattern only has two pieces, and it’s a quick sew.

brandym, you should! My husband loves his so much, he wears them everyday…well, almost everyday…they have to get washed some time…LOL.
Love the McCall’s pencil skirt on your blog. You think I’ll be able to wing it on my own?
