Burda Style For people who sew

Done !! I finally published it after several photographic trials !!
I introduce you….. my trench !! from the Burda pattern 12/011 – 118
This was a big challenge :because of flail chest (in the front and in the back), pockets, overstitching in the collar, lining….
I started from a beige gabardine but there was a problem :
i did not have enough tissue so i switch the fold in the back, doubled the flail chest with a similar tissue a little bit more light
I chose a brown lining with a sort of checkerboard pattern and i got a nice tweed mixed with golden lurex that i used for “parementures”, the reverse side of the collar and sleeves
Belt overstitched lined with the tweed !
