I followed the how-to on shibori and then dyed the fabric with tumeric. It has since faded. I will try using alum as a mordant next time.

hi. wow! the colour of the turmeric is so beautiful..even if it is ephemeral. i was wondering if u used any mordants at all with this particular shibori? keep up the good work =]
