I made this dress as a “practice dress”. I’ve just started sewing. It was originally intended to be mine, however, my sister-in-law tried it on for fun, and it fit her much better!
I altered the pattern by adding in a pretty bottom to the dress, closed the back, as well as sewed in a piece to cover the bust (its a little floppy), and I also took in the band – however, in doing so, the bottom and top no longer fit in, so it called for some creativity on my part.
Mission accomplished I would say, I wanted some practice sewing, and I got it =).
