19th bday dress

this is my version of the little black dress. i made this dress for my 19th birthday party in only two days :)

    Sweet.. yes I love the shape the flat topped strapless dresses are way too blah, but are all I can do successfully at the moment! Im just cutting the skirt tonight soooo if you get your shots up soon I can snag some ideas for when I add the top… do you just cut it into the heart shape? Thats what I think I’ll do thanks!!

      i actually got the basic U neck pattern (which consisted of 2 pieces, a central one and two for each side of the central piece) i alterated the U and instead of making both sides going down, i started drawing (in the pattern) from the middle of the central piece, upwards, untill i got like half of the curve, that later looked like a heart :)

      it’s kinda hard, but you’ll find a way out , you’ll see. :)

    so in style very cute and nicely done. I especially like the shape of the neckline, Im trying to do one heart shaped like that. its cool how it flares out at the waste then tappers in.. congrats! and HBD!!
