1966 Simplicity 6628 Jiffy Dress

Added Dec 6, 2012

by cathytxtwfr

Ouidah, Benin

Ebay + Me + Benin + Treadle machine = new dress!
I bought this pattern off of Ebay and had it mailed all the way to Benin – thankfully patterns are very light.
I graded the pattern up as the size 14 of 1966 doesn’t fit me.

I wrote more about it in my blog:

Summer, Spring

Very pretty! I think you did a great job matching the fabric to the pattern – it really brings it alive! It looks like you had a lot of fun taking the photos on your blog!
