I made this jacket from a Burda pattern for my Advanced sewing class at Brigham Young University. The skirt came from a pattern I got from an antique store made in the 1960s. I copied the pattern onto tissue paper to preserve the original and then altered it to make it my size using the “in-seam” method I’ve learned at my university. They both turned out really well, I think!
Jacket: 100% Rayon boucle
Skirt: Linen-Look polyester/cotton blend and cotton muslin for underlining (I was too lazy to go to the store for something better, so the skirt is a little heavy but completely opaque!)
