One week before a sweet 16th Birthday party, my daughter asked if I would make her something to wear. My biggest challenge being time and expertise, I made this two piece outfit in 2 evenings after working my 9-5.
The skirt was drafted using the techniques learned in an intermediate skirt sewing class last year, and the top came from a vintage pattern bought on Etsy.
Skirt – Polka Dot Cotton Silk with Chartreuse lining.
Top – Chartreuse Raw Silk, with Polka Dot color
Vintage Buttons bought from the recent Manhattan Vintage Clothing Show
