This is a test run for a wool plaid version I have planned in polyster flannel. I’m very glad I decided to use a cheaper fabric first, as I had to add some serious width!
The skirt’s made from a vintage pattern Simplicity 3357, which I believe was produced in the 1950s & is my first make from a vintage pattern. I think I might be hooked now – the instructions were a dream!
