Description

I wanted to make a house warming gift for a friend of mine who has recently started baking with a passion. A pinny seemed the ideal option and as this is their first house as a married couple, an homage to 1950s domesticity seemed just the ticket …

Material Notes

Owl and Sewing Cat’s online shop had a huge array. The original choice of heavy cotton with a cat print (in lieu of an actual cat, thought this could compensate) was discontinued so I opted for the coffee and doughnut print, with a black and white spot fabric for the borders, and Sew Essentials provided the black satin bias binding.

A thoughtful and downright “effective” gift.

How can it not be worn? It screams, “Put me on and make something!”.
